After seeing this movie, you may want to visit the Morris Museum in Morristown and see real automatons in action. The Smoke Rise connection there is Carolee Kowal Wineburgh (who grew up on Laurel Lane) and her husband Bill, who are volunteer docents and take turns teaching the public about these and other incredible music boxes that were donated by Murtogh Guinness.
